Mission: To create an integrated, coordinated, sustainable system that insures access to quality health and wellness services for students and their families within the Cincinnati Public Schools Community Learning Centers.

Community Advisory Committee

• The principal role of the Leadership Advisory Committee is to serve in an ongoing, advisory role to the committees of Growing Well Cincinnati.  It consists of the senior leaders, or their designee, of the healthcare and service organizations, particularly those who provide services to the Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) school health programs.  It will be lead by a chair chosen on an annual rotating basis by the members and staffed by the Director.
• 2nd Monday at 9 a.m. on May and October at Health Foundation
• Specific activities of the LAC include:
  • Periodic review of Growing Well Cincinnati deliberations and decisions in the context of their own healthcare and service organizations with advice as to implications.
  • Share expertise in developing solutions to aid in the delivery of services to students and their families
  • Support of collaborative of services across both school and healthcare/service organizations as identified.
  • Input with regard to short and long term strategic planning, especially in the context of community-wide healthcare planning.
  • Dissemination of information about Growing Well activities to their own organizations as appropriate.
  • Have the option to sit on specific subcommittees to give input to both the subcommittees and the LAC.

Primary Medical Care Subcommittee

• Meets monthly 1st Monday at 9 a.m. at Winslow Building off Oak Street, Room 5202

Wellness Subcommittee

• Bimonthly, 3rd Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Health Foundation

Oral Health Subcommittee

• Meet quarterly
